Impeachment? Hopefully.....

It takes a lot to bring me out of the hole I've been hiding in.....but the new "warrant-less" wire-tapping was just the ticket to do it.....

The beauty...the absolute, stunning beauty of it is, there are absolutely no good arguments for what Bush did.

"He needed the agility to get quick wiretaps."

.....Rrrrrrrright, even though he could get a warrant retroactively 72 hours AFTER the actual wiretap....

"Congress authorized him to do it when the gave him authorization to fight the war on terra."

Nuh-uh

"He draws the authority from the Constitution."

Again, everyone says this, but if you listen, right-wingers will never actually nail down the passage that grants this....and if anything, you would think that the Constitution actually prevents such things from happening....I'll refer you to number IV on this link.

The best part is watching the floundering of right-wingers everywhere. I love watching them defend an indefensible act.

Dance for me Fred Barnes. Please David Brooks, look like more of a clown. They all know FISA granted these type of "searches". But they just wanted to bypass, which is all the better. Because they didn't have to be in hot water for this. They chose to be.
