Whatever the Case May Be

Bush's Presidency must be considered an overwhelming failure, even by their own standards.

The White House acknowledged today that there is no longer an active search for Iraqi weapons. The final report from chief U.S. weapons inspector Charles Duelfer, due out next month, has concluded that "the former regime had no formal written strategy or plan for the revival of WMD."

Iraq provides terrorists with "a training ground, a recruitment ground, the opportunity for enhancing technical skills," said David B. Low, the national intelligence officer for transnational threats. "There is even, under the best scenario, over time, the likelihood that some of the jihadists who are not killed there will, in a sense, go home, wherever home is, and will therefore disperse to various other countries."

"We now have the Grand Canyon of trade deficits," said Joel Naroff, head of a Holland, Pa., forecasting firm. "Actually, deficit is really a misnomer. Chasm, gorge, black hole, infinitely deep well all fit the description better."

There's really not a lot to add. Liberals were right all this time. Pretty much everything we said would happen has happened and Bush is set to go down as one of the all time worst Presidents in history. Everything he touches turns to shit. Congratulations on that whole "restoring honor to the White House" thing.....
